Dog training guide
Training your dog can
be so simple compared to what some people make it out to be. You just need to know the best steps to take. Yes,
I was even stuck in the same situation as you are. Throwing a ball to my dog Buddy and just watching him turn
around to scratch himself got really old fast. But, if you want this same kind of situation to finally stop for
good, it's time to give this dog training guide a try.
No matter
if you are simply trying to get your pet to lay down or the more complex “grab a soda out of the fridge” trick,
there are a few things that you must know. First off, the command of your dog's attention is located in your
voice and actions. Dog's recognize your voice and learn it on a frequency basis. This helps your pet learn your
tone and learn how to react during different situations.
What about
when it comes to actions? I actually figured out a must have tip that you should know! Actions are just as
important as the tone of your voice. What you do in front of your dog, your dog learns and repeats the action in
his own way. When you get angry, mad, or are just plain frustrated your dog will be able to read your feelings.
So, this brings us to why actions matters so much. Action's matter because in order to teach your dog a trick,
you must do the trick along side your pet.
This may
just sound crazy, but it is a guarantee when it comes to dog training. No matter what trick you are trying to
teach your pet dog, these steps will work for you. I will give you the exact steps I used to train my Labrador
retriever. Buddy and I started off on edge when it came to house rules. He didn't like the outside and I didn't
like him using the inside for a bathroom. However, the compromise we came up with will also be a benefit for you
on any trick skills needed.
First off,
when you are teaching your dog a new trick, you must start at the source of the problem. This means if there is
a problem to begin with make sure your beloved pet knows not to repeat it. This process will be best taught over
a longer period of time. When you get to the root of any existing problems you can stop it from happening. This
will create a better opportunity to succeed when teaching your dog a new trick.
Now you
must teach your dog the new trick that you want to teach it. Grab a treat of some sort, take your pet outside,
and get ready to teach your dog a new trick! The example we are going to use is “shake”. So first off, your animal must know how to sit. While you have your
animal in sit position, you must do the same. Reach one hand out towards your dog with a treat in hand. Lift up
your dogs paw and say “shake” and proceed shaking his paw. Repeat these steps everyday for at least 15 minutes.
Keep the 15 minutes a determination.
By the time the week is
over with your animals new trick will be mastered. This is Me and Buddy's dog training guide that were hoping
will work for you and your pet as well. These steps will work with the most complex of tricks, so be sure to
teach your dog the tricks that need to be learned first. Such as sitting before shaking or standing before
dancing and so on. Training your pet doesn't need to take hundreds of dollars or expensive books. All you
need is a dog training guide and a will, you'll surely find the way to your dogs next mastered
trick.
